Meet the Hilltop Dental Team:

Every smile that walks into our office is greeted by another. Our team isn’t just skilled – they’re friendly, caring, and deeply committed to their work. Led by Dr. Olivia Knowles and Dr. Dwight Rastetter, each Hilltop Dental team member is highly skilled and passionate about creating a welcoming, and relaxed, environment for every patient.

  • Dr. Olivia ‘Liv’ Knowles, Dentist, DDS

    Dr. Olivia — you can call her ‘Dr. Liv’ — graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2023 with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa. She’s also a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Liv is a Dubuque, Iowa native. She swam competitively through most of her childhood and continued to do so during her time at UNI. During her free time she enjoys CrossFit, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her loved ones. Dr. Liv chose dentistry as her career with the hope of improving people’s smiles and overall confidence; she leads our team with a passion for dentistry and a commitment to patient comfort.

    Cindy Morgan, Practice Receptionist & Billing Coordinator

    Meet Cindy, the friendly face you meet upon entering Hilltop Dental; always ready to assist with appointments and billing queries. Cindy has over 36 years of experience in customer service. She’s a Des Moines, Iowa native and is the co-founder of Jericho Outreach Ministry; when she’s not participating in ministry activities, she enjoys dog-sitting, scrapbooking, and spending time with family and friends — especially her grandkids.

    Tyler Murphy, Dental Assistant

    Assisting with precision and care, Tyler ensures every procedure runs smoothly. When Tyler isn’t assisting our patients with dental procedures,
    her free time consists of reading books, and practicing her photography skills. Tyler’s favorite dental joke? What do you call a bear with no teeth?
    A gummy bear!

Tonya Mitchell, Registered Dental Hygienist

Meet Tonya, our resident expert in ensuring your teeth are sparkling clean and healthy. Tonya received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University; she’s been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 19 years. When Tonya isn’t keeping our patient’s teeth squeaky clean and healthy, she enjoys going to concerts, bicycling, traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
